While breastfeeding, when did your cycle return?

Did you milk it for all it was worth? (breastfed or pumped)

The Giggler

Par is an official giggler.

I nurse Par down for naps and bed (that means I BF until he falls asleep)and lately he has been overly tired and started giggling while BF before naps.

While this is cute in so many ways--the bigger the smile the more I feel those pearly whites--and he has 4 now! It doesn't help that I start laughing at the situation which only makes him giggle more. Ouch.

I know that pain. I only BF for a couple of months since I had to get a blood patch done which led to my baby getting nipple confusion so I ended up back and forth. Anyway, during that time, even though he had no teeth, he would bite down with his gums and then suck!!!! OWEEE!!! Boy did that hurt!!! There is no way to describe that kind of pain!!

I have never ventured over to your other blogs before but I LOVE it! I don't know what to call myself...breastfeeding advocate, breastfeeding activist, lactivist, nazi...who knows.

I am tandem feeding Miles at 2 years and Liviana at 8 months. It can be exhausting but I don't regret it. I know I am giving both of them the best. Miles seems to have a sensitive stomach and I know he needs the extra benefits and of course, Liviana needs all the extra breastmilk love she can get.

I got a big chomp today when I just about had Liviana to sleep and Miles turned up the TV volume quite loud. It startled Livi and she bit down, hard. Ouch! I have not had teeth problems yet with any of the kids (I've been continuously BFing for almost 4 years) so...knock on wood...I hope this won't be the time.

I've rambled enough. I am going to add your blog to my blog roll and check in often.

I had to quit at about 6 months, he wasn't getting enough milk from me and was losing weight terribly. The doc put him on whole milk when he was 10 months. He just needed more than what I could give and I hate I couldn't of BF longer. It really helped us bond.
Thanks for the comments on my blog, Beth has been helping me with it so I am still rusty.
